Sulla Geometria

The recorded development of geometry spans more than two millennia, it is hardly surprising that perceptions of what constitutes geometry have evolved throughout the ages. its visual nature makes it more accessible than other mathematical areas such as algebra or number theory, but it is not less enigmatic.
Growing up, i struggled with mathmetics in general, finding it too abstract for my poetic mind, on the other hand, i grew fond of the history of science.
After studying biology, I’ve been fascinated by fractal forms, repetition, symmetry etc (that we find across the biological world).
Geometry is inherent to our daily exitence, the building blocks of our world are « geometrical » shapes repeated endlessly in space. This section of my work is an elegy to symmetry and to chaos.
Techniques: black pen on paper. there are also coffee stains and acrylic.
